ICCONOL S

ICCONOL S  WAXES  is  primarily derived by polymerizing ethylene. Alpha olefins are chemically reactive because they contain a double bond.

The high pressure hydrogen make a unique wax with a very narrow carbon distribution, a greater hardness for its melt point and a lower viscosity than a similar melt point wax.

ICCONOL -S can help the formulator to improve or modify the following properties like: water resistance, adhesion, rub resistance, release, slip, anti-blocking, lubricity, gloss etc.

Synthetic waxes are produced primarily from ethylene. These materials are more consistent than natural products and less inclines to price fluctuations since supply is not dependent  on weather conditions.

It is a white solid at room temperature & is characterized by higher molecular weight, melting point & melt viscosity.

Application:

ICCONOL S  is used to improve lubricity, rub resistence,slip and anti-blocking, release and as a coefficient of friction modifier. It is recommended to be used in rubber compounding ,which helps the rubber protection , degradation resulting from ozone attack.
